Performed with a band of newly arrived misfits called BUCK 50....the only CD of Sand's ever released on a record label ( The short-lived indie label Monkey Finger), called the "very definition of Americana" by Music Row magazine, and compared to John Prine's debut in the Swedish Press....called "not commercially viable" by a nashville major label.....featuring the band Buck 50---Sean Ray guitar and steel, Gretchen Priest-fiddle, David Lovell-bass, and Cheryl Bradley on drums...it's all live...from start to finish...sand was suffering from a lung infection during the sessions....produced by Richard Mclaurin. sand's favorites: Hitched a ride, oklahoma crying, back to the country, the color box machine
